About Us
How it all began
Having both grown up in and worked in social housing, our founder Jack has lived and breathed social housing all his life. nine1three was born from this experience.
Over the last ten years or so, the sector has faced challenge after challenge. Building safety, net zero, changes in customer needs and expectations and various other things are continuously developing.
Jack recognised we need to adapt and change how we do things to keep up with the increasing demand and requirements whilst continuing the great work the sector does.
For us, the answer was in embracing innovation and technology which gave way to digital building management.
And with that, nine1three was born.
COLLABORATION
Collaboration is at the heart of nine1three. To bring the best technology to the sector it was important for us to partner with a leading IoT supplier so after a long search we are extremely proud to say we partnered with Sensative.
Sensative’s founders helped change the world with mobile phone and Bluetooth technology and their understanding and appreciation for open solutions capable of integrating everything resonated with us at nine1three.
Our partnership means we can bring the latest Smart Building and Smart City technology and the best solutions to you and your organisation.

Emmaus supports people to work their way out of homelessness, providing meaningful work, training, support and a stable home for as long as someone needs it. Their values and purpose resonated with us here at nine1three and helping them meet their target of providing a home to 1,100 people by 2025 is a key priority of ours.
